L’età antica è stata attraversata da crisi politico-sociali e religiose.
In Occidente ci sono state figure femminili che hanno giocato un ruolo determinante a vantaggio delle donne dell’Oriente.
Oggi è possibile leggere con chiarezza le tracce del loro influsso e nella politica e nella religione, come pure nella cultura. Dal punto di vista sociale il ruolo che la donna Occidentale si è conquistata è la famigerata libertà di muoversi,di agire in un certo modo, di raggiungimento completo dell’ indipendenza economica.
La società impone un modello di donna-oggetto sempre perfetta e vincente dove però la donna Occidentale è consapevole e si dibatte sulla mercificazione di cui è divenuta oggetto.
Allo stesso modo e non tanto differente la questione è vissuta dalla donna Orientale,
essa combatte le sue problematiche di sottomissione al potere maschile.
Là dove sorge il Sole spunta la Luna, in quel dove appare la Luna il Sole si recondita.
Rosa Didonna installa un’onda di femminilità inedita mettendo in comunicazione la donna dell’Occidente e quella dell’Oriente e la loro differenza.
Mentre per la donna Occidentale si è sviluppato il sistema della mercificazione del corpo,
per la donna Orientale il sistema è tutt’ora in lotta per il futuro della propria prole.
Quello che copre la donna Orientale, viene scoperto dalla donna Occidentale e viceversa quello che scopre la donna Orientale lo copre la donna Occidentale.
A congiungere questi due forzieri dorati di un mondo totalmente e apparentemente differente è un sistema antimagnetico, in cui i due opposti respingono le attrazioni ed attraggono le respingenti.
Il particolare ispirativo del messaggio della mostra- performance “La Donna Bifronte Arte la mia seconda pelle”di Rosa Didonna vuol essere, per la donna Orientale, una evocazione del telo bianco che definisce lo spazio delineato da pietre, circondato dalle lapidazioni e dalle violenze subite, mentre per la donna Occidentale vuol essere un fermo-immagine del messaggio negativo-positivo nel positivo-negativo unendole in un unico emblema femminile di un Est e di un Ovest immaginari.
La mostra alla"The Framers Gallery"narra di un corpo muliebre che mette in luce ciò che l’inibito Oriente custodisce ,come mistero, occulto, velato, secretato, sacro e proibito.
L’accomunante è l’innato germe della rinascita dello svecchiamento dell’Arte dove la stessa Rosa Didonna, consacrata Sacerdotessa nell’Arte, mette in mostra il suo potere di depositaria di una biedrica Verità, mettendo in scena i due mondi e le loro innumerevoli riflessioni sulla storia.
Inoltre non si limita a dare forma di tono moralistico alla sua poetica, ma la fa seguire attraverso la sua seconda pelle in una doppia figura femminile amante dell’Arte e del mondo contaminando allo stesso tempo i diversi modi psicologici.
Il suo messaggio è di rigenerazione morale nel contesto della società odierna, i cui costumi, pur diversi tra loro,come il passato e il presente, tracciano aspetti dello stesso stile di Sibilla, figura retorica molto utilizzata dall’autrice,dove l’artista dimostra la grande capacità di penetrazione storiografica.
